Itinerary
DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY/ HANOI/ CANTHO - CON DAO (L, D)
AM: Catch flight to Con Dao at your own arrangement. Upon arrival, you are picked up by tour guide and transferred to hotel. On the way, the tour guide gives you introduction about our upcoming destinations. Arriving in Con Dao Town, have lunch and check in to hotel.
PM: Pay visits to highlight destinations in the town, including Ba Phi Yen Temple (An Son Temple) dedicated to Mrs. Phi Yen - a wife of King Nguyen Anh. On the way getting there, you have chance to contemplate the beauty of An Hai Lake. Nui Mot Pagoda: a unique pagoda in Con Dao; Ben Dam Harbor: the biggest harbor as well as the key economic area of Con Dao; Bai Nhat Beach, White Stone Beach & Shark Cape. Visit the memorial of greatest escape in Con Dao history and catch amazing sunset on the Love Peak before returning to hotel.
Have dinner and stay overnight in Con Dao.
DAY 2: DISCOVER LEGENDARY CON DAO (B, L, D)
AM: Have breakfast. Driver and tour guide take you to visit the historical relic complex at the town center. Our first stop is the Palace of the Island's King where we listen to introduction and explanation about Con Dao history while seeing original artifacts on display here. Proceed to Phu Hai Prison - the oldest prison built by the French, famous for its underground mill, the solitary confinement and stone dam area of Kunlun. This is also where patriot Phan Chu Trinh had been imprisoned. French-structured Tiger Cages, also called Phu Tho Prison. This is the highlight of Con Dao prison with a system of solid tiger cages hidden between buildings. View the tiger cages and listen to description about physical tortures imposed on prisoners.
Next visits: American-structured Tiger Cages also known as Phu Binh Prison with rows of narrow and humid cells built in 1971. Hang Duong Cemetery: the largest cemetery in Con Dao, the burial place of tens of thousands of revolutionary fighters and patriots of Vietnam (from 1862 to 1975). Here you can visit the grave of the famous Vietnamese heros such as Le Hong Phong, Nguyen An Ninh, Le Van Viet ..., especially the grave of the heroine Vo Thi Sau, who the islanders referred to respectfully with many anecdotes about her epiphany. The separated area of barn: where prisoners were tortured by being soaked in cellars of cattle dung. Lunch in restaurant then return back hotel for a short rest.
PM: Travel along the seaside road named Co Ong to get Dam Trau Beach. Visit Cai Prince Temple dedicated to the son of King Nguyen Anh and Hoang Phi Yen. Take sea bath atDam Trau Beach – a beautiful pristine beach in Con Dao and enjoy fresh sea food at your own account.
Return to Con Dao Town. Have dinner in local restaurant before transfering back the hotel. Experience the night life in Con Dao at your own program.
DAY 3: CON DAO – HO CHI MINH CITY/ HANOI/ CANTHO (B, L)
AM: After breakfast time, you are free at your own program (shopping at Con Dao market is suggested).
11:30 am Check out of hotel. Have lunch in restaurant. You are transferred to Con Son Airport for returning home. End of services!
Remark: In the event that your flight departs in the morning, the last lunch is not available and your tour cost will be subtracted by 120,000 VND/ pax.

Children rate:
- Under 6 year old children are free of charged when sharing room and meals with parents.
- Childen of 6 - 11 years old are charged at 50% of adult rate, including meals and car seaters, sharing room with parents.
- Children of 12 years old up are rated as adults.
Cancellation policy
For usual days
- You are charged for 10%, 30% and 70% of your booking value if cancelling your order more than 5 days, 3-5 days and 48-24 hours prior to departure, respectively. Note: for 4-star hotels and resorts, you shall bear 100% no matter when your cancellation is received.
- You are charged for 100% of your booking value if cancelling your order right on the date of departure.
For public days and New Year holiday
- You are charged for 40%, 50% and 70% of your booking value when cancelling your order more than 7 days, 5-7 days and within 5 days prior to departure, respectively. In the event that you call off your order right on the date of departure or without notification, please incur 100% of booking value.
- In the event that you wish to change your departure date and give us notice at least 7 days prior to booked departure, no amendment charge is applied (the rule comes true for accommodation of three-star hotel and lower rating one). If later, the case will be attributed to the above-mentioned rules. You are allowed to change your departure date one time only.
- As for railway tickets and air tickets, the case is subject to provisions of the airlines and the railway firm.
- After cancellation, please receive your refund within 1 month since your date of cancellation. We only refund you within the period of these 30 days.
- In case of cancellation due to acts of God such as natural disasters, epidemics or flight/train cancel, APT Travel has no obligation to compensate any additional costs other than the refund of unused included services.
